alright, today’s this video: the neo-geo’s 35th anniversary is just came out in yesterday of april 26th, 1990. annnnd we did all neo-geo’s fighting games’s game over compilation, but, what about neo-geo CD? well, l never recorded that console at all. but, l don’t know what the console is about, whether the console, what’s the difference between arcade’s neo-geo & neo-geo CD with arranged soundtrack? because, it’s only works for retroachievements with “NeoCD” emulator, such as “RALibRetro” & “RetroArch”. u know, @RedWaluigi1999 / metalnatsu is made the game over video about any neo-geo CD’s fighting games, but, u know what? l will doing my best if l can.
so yeah anyway, today: here’s my game over compilation from all neo-geo CD’s fighting games series in one video.
so, we’re starting up with Fatal Fury 1: King of Fighters as the first one all the way to KOF 99 as the last one from Neo-Geo CD. because, there’s ton of missing fighting games from neo-geo CD has got cancelled from arcade’s neo-geo only: such as king of monsters 1, fight fever, kizuna encounter, waku waku 7, breakers revenge and so on. so yeah, if u guys want to see more fighting games content in my channel.

The Neo Geo CD is a home video game console produced by SNK Corporation, released on September 9th, 1994. The system is the same platform as the cartridge-based Neo Geo released four years earlier, but converted to the cheaper CD media format which retailed at $49 to 79 per title compared to over $200 for the equivalent cartridge.
The Neo Geo CD was launched with a bundled control pad instead of a joystick like the AES version of the Neo Geo came with; however, the system was compatible with controllers from the AES. The Neo Geo CD had met with limited success due to it being plagued with slow loading times that could vary from 30 to 60 seconds between loads, depending on the game. As of September 30th, 1997, there had been 570,000 Neo Geo CD units sold worldwide; production of all Neo Geo hardware was discontinued in 1997, while new software continued to be released until 2004.
The Neo Geo, stylized as NEO•GEO and also written as NEOGEO, is a ROM cartridge-based arcade system board and fourth generation home video game console released on April 26th, 1990, by Japanese game company SNK Corporation. It was the first system in SNK’s Neo Geo family.
The Neo Geo originally launched as the Multi Video System (MVS) coin-operated arcade machine. With its games stored on self-contained cartridges, a game cabinet can easily be changed to a different game title by swapping the game’s cartridge and cabinet artwork. The MVS offers owners the ability to put up to six different cartridges into a single cabinet, a unique feature that was a key economic consideration for operators with limited floorspace, as well as saving money long term.
A home console version was also made, called Advanced Entertainment System (AES). It was originally released solely as a rental console for video game stores in Japan called the Neo Geo Rental System, with its high manufacturing costs causing SNK not to release it for retail sale. This was later reversed due to high demand and it was released at retail as a luxury console. Adjusted for inflation, it was the most expensive home video game console ever released, costing US$649.99 (equivalent to $1,397 in 2022). The AES had identical hardware to the MVS, allowing home users to play the games exactly as they were in the arcades.
