Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a 2017 kart racing video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It retains Mario Kart series game mechanics, where players control Mario franchise characters in kart racing, collecting a variety of items to hinder opponents or gain advantages in the race. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe introduces anti-gravity driving on walls or ceilings, and allows players to bump each another for a short boost. It has single-player and multiplayer modes, including online play via Nintendo Switch Online.

A total of 48 remastered courses from throughout the Mario Kart series are racing to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game as paid DLC! Content in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe — Booster Course Pass will release in 6 waves of 8 courses from March 18, 2022 until the end of 2023.
